If you have any old magazines, junk mail, or even old catalogs sitting around, you may not see it right away, but what you really have are great beads just waiting to be made into a necklace or bracelet!
Step 1 (the first picture):Find the paper that you want to use, then cut it into long triangular pieces.
Step 2 (the second picture): After you have cut the paper into long triangles, then you have to roll the paper into tubes. Start at the widest end and roll toward the skinny end. This will help to create a nice oval shape. ***Note*** you can roll them completely by hand or with the help of a rod.
Step 3: Coat the rolled bead with modpodge or another type of waterproof sealer.
Step 4: Wait for the beads to dry, then create fabulous earth friendly jewelry.
